Love love love!

Saving money has always been my absolute weakest point in life and today has been no exception. I went into town to get presents for the little mans third birthday (three years old! Crazy I know!) and ended up treating myself to lots of new make up and quite literally had to drag myself away from a gorgeous pair of shoes in Tin Fish while I was paying Harriet a visit. Actually scratch the money saving thing, its shoes that have always been my absolute weakest point in life! I am almost completely certain I will be back mid week to purchase them. But all in all I think I'm doing quite well and it will all be worth it in the long run!

I don't particularly have a great deal to update you all on at the minute. Planning a toddlers birthday party has proven to be rather time consuming and on top of that me and Toby have both been rather ill this week! I do have to say, he did manage to cope with it a hell of a lot better than me! But I am finally off my deathbed and have a hectic week ahead of me that I am rather looking forward to. I have lots of catching up to do with everyone before they all leave me and head back to uni and its looking like a night out is on the cards  for Friday! Hopefully I'll have something interesting to tell you all about next time...

The Seaside

Since the weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week we decided on Thursday to jump in the car and head to the beach for a nice little day out. Toby was so excited it was unreal! He absolutely loves sand (a fondness we don't share) and was telling me the whole way there about all the sandcastles he was going to make. Unfortunately as much as Toby enjoys making sandcastles, he enjoys knocking them down a whole lot more so none of them survived longer than a few seconds. I even turned the massive oversized Hawaiian shirt I purchased last year, that everyone laughed at may I add, into a cute little crop top for the occasion. I was rather pleased with myself on that one! 

I'm also going to throw in this adorable picture of Toby and his friend from baby group walking around Thornton reservoir on Friday. Seriously can't get over how cute it is!

I want pretty much everything from pixiemarket.com but my bank balance disagrees. 

I really need to finally start selling all the clothes I don't wear so I can replace them with new ones as I currently only wear about 30% of my wardrobe! I'm just one of those annoying people who finds it difficult parting with my possessions mainly due to sentimental value. Not a bad trait to have but it doesn't half cause some clutter! 

I am trying to save my blogging for when something interesting happens but everything has been awfully slow at the moment! A few weeks ago was a different matter but I just simply didn't have the time to get blogging! Along with getting work sorted I also managed to treat myself to the occasional night out and a couple of wonderful girly nights in! It doesn't sound much but considering I rarely get the chance to get out much these days it was a hell of a lot for me! I am currently in the process of searching for a job while attempting to plan the route I'm going to take with education come September. Its horrible thinking that my entire working future is relying on this decision and I can't help thinking I'm a little in over my head! The pressure to make the right choice is truly overwhelming! I'm sure I'll make the right decision in the end but at the minute it all seems so scary! I have a few events with my lovelies lined up soon to take my mind off things though. I also have the summer to look forward to after all, this makes everything seem a lot less worrying!

My little man is becoming quite the actor. His new favourite thing is pulling faces recreating different emotions. He constantly fascinates me with all the amazing things he can do at only 2 and a half years of age! He really does make me incredibly proud. Words can't even begin to describe!

I'm currently looking at different university courses trying to decide what to do with my life when in all honesty, I really don't have a clue. I've always been the kind of person that wants to experience everything. I love trying new things, going to new places and meeting new people and I honestly can't see myself doing just one thing for the rest of my life. I want to do it all, I want to see it all! The only thing in my life that is in fact certain, is that I'm forever going to remain a dreamer. How ever unrealistic my little fantasy world may be!

Me and the girls are running a charity night at Firebug next Tuesday. Its going to be quite the event so I highly recommend you get on down!
