I am trying to save my blogging for when something interesting happens but everything has been awfully slow at the moment! A few weeks ago was a different matter but I just simply didn't have the time to get blogging! Along with getting work sorted I also managed to treat myself to the occasional night out and a couple of wonderful girly nights in! It doesn't sound much but considering I rarely get the chance to get out much these days it was a hell of a lot for me! I am currently in the process of searching for a job while attempting to plan the route I'm going to take with education come September. Its horrible thinking that my entire working future is relying on this decision and I can't help thinking I'm a little in over my head! The pressure to make the right choice is truly overwhelming! I'm sure I'll make the right decision in the end but at the minute it all seems so scary! I have a few events with my lovelies lined up soon to take my mind off things though. I also have the summer to look forward to after all, this makes everything seem a lot less worrying!

My little man is becoming quite the actor. His new favourite thing is pulling faces recreating different emotions. He constantly fascinates me with all the amazing things he can do at only 2 and a half years of age! He really does make me incredibly proud. Words can't even begin to describe!

I'm currently looking at different university courses trying to decide what to do with my life when in all honesty, I really don't have a clue. I've always been the kind of person that wants to experience everything. I love trying new things, going to new places and meeting new people and I honestly can't see myself doing just one thing for the rest of my life. I want to do it all, I want to see it all! The only thing in my life that is in fact certain, is that I'm forever going to remain a dreamer. How ever unrealistic my little fantasy world may be!

I found a collection of images I had saved as inspiration for my photography work. I was going to use them to help me create part of my exhibition but due to finishing my course early I never got round to it. I have decided to start working on the project again as I had some pretty good ideas! I've massively missed throwing my all into something.

Quick update.

So the last few days have been beautiful and typical Lauren has spent the week worrying coz I don't have a decent pair of sunglasses. Fail. I also need to get myself a new summer wardrobe, so I have finally decided to sell the massive, ever growing pile of clothes I no longer wear. Expect lots of eBay links this week!

The majority of my week has been spent taking Toby to as many nice places as possible trying to make the most of the nice weather! My favourite was the day we spent with the girls from baby group and their little ones at Twinlakes. I'd never been before so I didn't know what to expect but it was such a lovely day out! (Minus the two Llamas we caught in the act). I even won myself 4 more tickets so we get to go again! This is a big deal for me considering I've never won anything before. Here is a few pictures of my very grown up little man! Oh and a picture of a peacock I ended up following around for ages while trying to get a decent shot of it.

Interior Inspiration.

So as you all know I have recently moved into my own little flat. Its all be going so well! I can't begin to explain how nice it is just having somewhere I can call my own where I can just chill out, relax, and lets face it, basically do whatever I want! I've also loved decorating the place and putting my own little mark on it all. I have been searching for art work to decorate the place with for a while now but I still haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I have decided tonight I am just going to have a go at making my own. Its been too long since I've been creative and I've also made a little promise to myself I'm going to start doing more. If it all doesn't go exactly to plan, at least I've got myself a fair few artistic friends to help bail me out! 

The internet in the flat is up and running, my laptop is repaired, so it looks like I'm back! The only slight problem is I know what I want to say, I just don't know how to say it.

The last week or so has been spent completely kitting the new flat out and oh my its been hard work! I didn't realise just how much I'd need but I've completely finished with the kitchen now and managed to get myself a fridge freezer for £26! Right bargain. I also managed to get myself an Ikea sofa for free! If you haven't heard of freecycle I strongly suggest you check it out! I also spent my first proper night in the flat with the boy for Valentines day. I even cooked a meal as well! Get me. Now as a strong hater of valentines day I gave up on the idea of a nice romantic night in after about an hour, so we decided to make our way to my new local then head into town to get well and truely smashed. I hate to admit it but I've never really been a 'wine and dine me' kind of girl. I'm more of a 'take me out, get me drunk then take me home' girl. Classy I know! I cant even remember my first drunken stumble into my new home but I assure you they'll be many more to come!

This weekend has also been an unexpected good 'un! It was Palmers 21st and he had a little do at the coach and horses in Markfield, our usual Friday night drinking spot. This meant I got a night out with my home girls in Leicester instead of Sheffield! Though I am a MASSIVE fan of our Sheffield nights out. We decided to hit town afterwards and had a ridiculously banter filled taxi journey there which basically just meant we insulted everyone including Flo the taxi driver bless him. We headed to Propaganda. Now I've never actually been before so I kept an open mind, but I have I have to say, it was worse than I could have ever imagined! Really wasn't my thing at all. But luckily it was one of those nights where the people you're with make it and it actually turned out to be an amazing night! I then managed a beautiful little Sunday with my little man in the garden playing Football and hiding from monsters so all in all my weekend was a complete success! I am now off to do my daily work out so until next time my friends! Or as Toby would say, kissy kissy!

 Palmers Birthday

So in the few weeks since I've been away a few pretty big things have happened that have left me feeling ever so grown up! Not only have I turned 20, but I got my flat! I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this excited about something and its an amazing feeling I want to hold onto! I've got something new to throw my all into, I've finally gained my independence and I am getting out there into the big wide world! If that's not exciting i don't know what is.
